These Short courses and qualifications offered in Teaching are to enhance your confidence in this industry. They can be taken as standalone courses which can be added to at any time. The Award and Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector cover the basics of teaching in continuing and adult education - including how to plan sessions, motivate learners and use a variety of assessment methods.

You don't need any prior teaching experience or qualifications and is suitable for people working in the industry already who want to gain official qualifications.

The Award in Assessing Candidates (Assessor and Verifier Awards) is designed for people who want to assess NVQ/SVQ candidates. You'll gain the skills needed for collecting and judging evidence of competence.

This qualification is for people with specialist skills who want to assess candidates undertaking NVQs or SVQs in their particular specialism.
